We went on the tour this past weekend as we traveled to San Juan for our anniversary. We are so happy we chose this tour. Papi chulo and pretty boy were not only knowledgeable, they had the best personalities, made us laugh while also making us feel safe during our trip. Some of the rocks you hike out / up can be challenging so bring water shoes (or at least socks). Ladies if you plan on going in the water bring a bathing suit you trust, the waters are ROUGH!! Bring some alcohol on the bus if you wish or to drink once you’re settled in the rainforest. If possible, bring a change of clothes/swimsuit for the ride home. I hate staying in wet things and this made us super comfortable. Finally don’t forget a towel (like we did). If you’re wondering if you should go on this tour, the answer is YES! We left at 9:05 and got home around 4 which was perfect.
Definitely recommend

Our trip with David was incredible! It was a lot to fun! He took the time to explain everything to us and made sure we were safe! I did expect more walking through the rainforest, but the focus of the tour was more based on swimming and fun!
Great day trip

We were here for our honeymoon and couldn’t of asked for a better experience! (Papi Chulo) was an amazing guide and created an experience that we will think of first when reflecting on our experiences in Puerto Rico. We will definitely be back with our family and friends next time as it is something I would recommend spending with the most cherished people in your life.
Best guide ever

We Had A Blast!

Ryan (aka Papa Jouli) has a great sense of humor and made this tour a memorable one. The tour description differed from the actual tour. The “nature walk” was a walk down to a stream, where participants could jump off a rock into the stream and then walk over to a rope swing and jump back into the water. That was the nature walk. We then went to the natural water slide. It was difficult walking on the slick rocks to get to the top of the slide launch point. Papa Jouli held my hand to help me to get to the top of the slide. This was the highlight of this tour. The water slide was so exhilarating! Without his help, I would not have been able to get to the top of the slide. We then went to the beach, which was really beautiful. We rented beach chairs from a vendor for $10 per chair. We ate lunch at booth #38, which was owned by Papa Jouli’s family. The food was fresh and delicious.
Great Experience!

Totally worth it

The tour guide gives you some history on each stopping point. Really recommend wearing a bathing suit under and water shoes.
Really fun tour!!!!

Such a wonderful tour! Meet up was 20 mins later than expected but thats okay. Upon arrival, our tour guide, David, took us on a short nature walk through a private entrance of the rainforest that u can only access with the tour guide. There we jumped off two platforms and were able to rope swing or just hang out. We then went to the natural water slide which was 10 mins away and finished it off with 2 hours at luqillo beach. David was super encouraging and really made everyone feel comfortable and safe. Super fun, I really reccomend!!
Wouldn't recommend to a friend

Would not recommend this tour. The time management was poor at each stop, never leaving at the time we said we would. The group size was really big which didn't help with the time management. I didn't learn much from the tour. It would've been helpful if this tour shared that you really should have water shoes, I didn't and slipped and got a huge bruise and hurt my feet jumping into the water. Lastly, I highly recommend not going to the restaurant they recommend on the last stop - it is super over priced, bad service, and bad food, despite them telling you it is the best restaurant in the complex.
