San Juan
30 min - To begin our amazing adventure our guide will personally pick up at the travelers accommodation in the metro area. Pickups can be hotels, resorts, residences or airbnbs anywhere in San Juan, Carolina, Loiza, Canovanas, Luquillo, Rio Grande or Fajardo. The day before the excursion, the tour guide will be communicating with the travelers for exact pick up time and other details. This schedule goes from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The earlier we start the better, to avoid bigger tour groups that arrive from other companies.

El Yunque National Forest
3 hr - Our certified tourguide will lead you through this beautiful hidden gem in the national rainforest of "El Yunque." in this area you will explore through the muddy clay trails and the lushes green of the rainforest. We will arrive at Las Tinajas Falls depending on previously scheduled pick up times by your personal tour guide. The hike is about 1.5 miles in total and will take about half an hour to arrive to the first bathing area. The guide will talk about the Taino life in the rainforest, the beautiful plants that grow around and show you the incredible bathing areas hidden in paradise. In these bathing areas you will be able to spend 1-2 hours swimming around, rope swinging into the deep rainwaters, sliding through a natural waterslide and/or jump from a 30 foot cliff! All these things in one incredible area in Puerto Rico. We will stay here until 1-2pm and afterwards stop around in some of the nearby restaurants to grab a bite to eat!

Playa Luquillo
1 hr - After our amazing hike, its time for some food! If the group and the tour guide wish, a stop will be made at this beautiful beach that is home to some 25 kiosks that are all located in the best restaurants in Puerto Rico. In this strip you will have the opportunity to try authentic Puerto Rican dishes and drinks like our famous mojitos or "piña colada".(lunch costs not included). In turn, you can enjoy the beautiful view provided by one of the most beautiful beaches on the island and have the opportunity to bathe in one of the most iconic beaches on our beautiful island. We will usually arrive by 2-3pm and leave by 4-5pm.

EL YUNQUE TOUR

Andrea was an extraordinary tour guide. Her enthusiasm and passion was immediately felt at the initial greet. She led us on this excursion with tons of info about the rainforest, its history and the people and culture of Puerto Rico. After the tour Andrea took us to a fantastic restaurant in Luqillo along the beach. I highly recommend her as she did not let up, with her giving us tips and places to visit throughout the island. Thank you Andrea! ☺️

Private Rainforest Hike and waterfall

I would def recommend the private waterfall hike tour!!! Jean was awesome and there were only six of us, which made it more personal and fun! He picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel!!! The best part was stopping at the food kiosk and helping order authentic Puerto Rican food!!! We highly recommend doing this guided tour!!!

Look no further. They are the Best.

Stop your further research. Just Go with Andrea undoubtedly. She has magic of connecting with you irrespective of your background. Andrea picked us in a mint condition vehicle and gave lot of insights about Puerto Rico and the rainforest along the way. She didn’t rush us and let us enjoy the pristine beauty. She accommodated the kids who wanted to do rope hanging and water sliding more than once. She helped us pick our lunch options. It felt like family when doing your with her. My day wouldn’t have been the same without her.

Andres’ the Great!!

I highly recommend the private tour!!! And if possible, request Andrés’.. My wife and I headed to Puerto Rico for our honeymoon.. booked the private tour.. and loved every minute of the overall experience. Our tour guide was the best. Andres was very informative of the surrounding areas.. and terrain.. explained Do’s and Do nots.. Everything else from the hoke to the water slides and rope swing were fantastic!! One of the best parts, was meeting the other couple on our private tour.. making friends and enjoyed the fun times.. I highly recommend Hidden Excursions PR!!

THE BEST EXPERIENCE IN SAN JUAN

Let me start at the beginning….BRIAN (ONE OF A KIND) was our tour guide, he was very personable, informative, knowledgeable, friendly, kind, patient and helpful. Small group = better experience! The sights in the rainforest….Beautiful! We hiked, swam, slid down a natural slid (very comfortable), jumped off cliffs, and dropped into the river off ropes. Mud, inclines, exposed tree roots, bamboo, and rocks are all part of the game El Yunque. Keep in mind It’s off the beaten path but the best experience in San Juan. Let’s not forget the food at the end, a good Puerto Rican selection of food and drinks. I won’t spoil and further details. El Yunque + Brian = culture of San Juan.
