Prepare for a fun and adventurous day surrounded by caves, rivers and nature with Certified Tour Guides. You will hike, river trek to beautiful deep greenish blue pools, jump in the water and river float through underground caves. Explore a channel between breathtaking and unique rock formations carved by the passing of the river, all this surrounded by a beautiful lush scenery.
End this adventure by stopping at a delicious local food restaurant and then hiking a short trail to a hidden small natural spring; a beautiful oasis in the middle of a forest. For adventure seeker wanting to visit less touristic areas, but favorite local spots, this will be an unforgettable experience.
This is a challenging tour that requires a certain degree of physical fitness, balance and river trekking skills. All participants will wear a life vest, but still must have basic swimming skills. Closed sturdy water hiking shoes required.

What To Expect
Vega Baja
Get ready to get wet almost as soon as this adventure starts. Just a few minutes of walking downhill, we will encounter a nice trail taking us to a quiet part of the river where it forms small beautiful greenish blue pools and goes underground and downstream through stunning rock formations. There we will do some river trekking, jump and swim in the river and under a cave and later float lazily downstream. We will continue to the second and most popular area. Here, we will see a small but amazing open cave or more like a small canyon carved by the passing of the river for thousands of years. The rock formations are amazing, unique looking and there you can just walk around the formations and flowstones, jump or just relax floating in the water between the canyon to admire this nature’s gift.

will head to a Nature Reserve to hike a short trail leading to a hidden small natural spring. Is a beautiful oasis in the middle of a forest where the water is just pristine and completely clear, for sure refreshing and a great way to end your day before heading back.

This was the ultimate vacation adventure. The tour guide Yamile was passionate for her job, nature and Puerto Rico. She was organized and managed the time and people very well. Besides the amazing canyons, caves, river and fresh water spring, the traditional Puerto Rican lunch was sensational. It’s a must with no regrets.

There’s no way I can explain how awesome this tour was. Yamile was super nice to all of us, explaining the history of the place and always taking care of all of us.

Incredible and such a memorable experience! It was my third trip to Puerto Rico, but I have never done anything like this before. Make sure that you are physically up for it, and be prepared to swim for a couple hours in the beautiful caves (water shoes are highly preferred!). Yamile is a very passionate and knowledgable guide. Highly recommend!

It was a really fun trip! Our tour guide Yamile took a lot of cool pictures for us and showed us many incredible views that I can never find in Puerto Rico myself! Definitely worth the money and it’s a really unforgettable experience!

One of the best tours we have ever done. Really was a great day out in nature and our tour guide was super nice, knowledgeable, and did her best to talk about what we were interested in. She picked a great place for lunch, making sure we were able to try legit local cuisine and it was delicious. The trip to the caves was so much fun, caves were amazing and the afternoon clear spring was super pretty.

Yamile is simply amazing and the cave tour is a once in a lifetime experience! I went with my boyfriend and we had such an amazing time. Yamile is so friendly and made us feel like family (we’re all her primos now!) she was very communicative throughout the pre planning process and made sure we were 100% prepared for the day. She’s also super informed and knowledgeable in the trails (felt safe and comfortable the entire time) and all things PR. We had an amazing time can’t wait to come back to PR for another tour! This trip was truly an adventure!! Yamile was the absolute best. She is very knowledgeable and has a great presentation. I took my waterproof phone case with me to take photos, but did not need to. Yamile took photos of the whole group and airdropped them to us at the end of the tour. Next time I would leave my hands free and let her do all the pics. She knows just where the perfect settings are. Don’t hesitate to book this tour! It truly deserves a 10 star rating!

This was an amazing experience! The group was limited and small. Our guide Yamile was the best. She was super informative and kept us all laughing. She made arrangements for us to park with our rental car. She bent over backwards to make sure everyone had a good time. You can take your phone in a waterproof case, which I did, but I would not do it again. Yamile took photos and videos of the group all day and then air dropped them to us at the end of the trip. Keep your hands free and let her take the photos! I would give 10 stars. Book this trip!!

Yamile is a knowledgeable, fun, excellent guide. She is very organized and picked us up at our hotel at 7:15. There were 8 plus Yamile in our group. The morning river hike and caves were beautiful and it was a challenging adventure. We didn't see any other tourists until the afternoon. She took many great pictures for us. We enjoyed eating at a local buffet for lunch. The afternoon nature walk and swim in the watering hole were a nice way to end the day. Sturdy water shoes, dri-fit t-shirts, shorts and a waterproof phone pouch were nice to have. Our family of 4 (2 teenagers) loved this tour and highly recommend it!
