El Yunque National Forest

Andrea was an extraordinary tour guide. Her enthusiasm and passion was immediately felt at the initial greet. She led us on this excursion with tons of info about the rainforest, its history and the people and culture of Puerto Rico. After the tour Andrea took us to a fantastic restaurant in Luqillo along the beach. I highly recommend her as she did not let up, with her giving us tips and places to visit throughout the island. Thank you Andrea! ☺️
Private Rainforest Hike and waterfall

I would def recommend the private waterfall hike tour!!! Jean was awesome and there were only six of us, which made it more personal and fun! He picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel!!! The best part was stopping at the food kiosk and helping order authentic Puerto Rican food!!! We highly recommend doing this guided tour!!!

Stop your further research. Just Go with Andrea undoubtedly. She has magic of connecting with you irrespective of your background. Andrea picked us in a mint condition vehicle and gave lot of insights about Puerto Rico and the rainforest along the way. She didn’t rush us and let us enjoy the pristine beauty. She accommodated the kids who wanted to do rope hanging and water sliding more than once. She helped us pick our lunch options. It felt like family when doing your with her. My day wouldn’t have been the same without her.

THE BEST EXPERIENCE IN SAN JUAN

Let me start at the beginning….BRIAN (ONE OF A KIND) was our tour guide, he was very personable, informative, knowledgeable, friendly, kind, patient and helpful. Small group = better experience! The sights in the rainforest….Beautiful! We hiked, swam, slid down a natural slid (very comfortable), jumped off cliffs, and dropped into the river off ropes. Mud, inclines, exposed tree roots, bamboo, and rocks are all part of the game El Yunque. Keep in mind It’s off the beaten path but the best experience in San Juan. Let’s not forget the food at the end, a good Puerto Rican selection of food and drinks. I won’t spoil and further details. El Yunque + Brian = culture of San Juan.

This was an amazing experience! My guide, Ian was outstanding. So much fun, interesting, knew exactly what he was doing the entire time. Personalized pick up at the Airbnb, great conversation. The Rainforest was amazing, beautiful and like natures water park. I got to do a rope swing, jump off 40 foot rocks and do a couple of natural water slides. Really the time of my life. THANKS IAN!!

The guide Jean was very knowledgeable and fun. We went on a wonderful rainforest hike. The waterfalls were beautiful and the water was crystal clear. He went above and beyond, and even gave us a mini tour of San Juan.

We went on the tour with Mitchell in early Feb and had an absolute blast! He was fun, engaging, and so informative about everything we did.
They tell you to prepare for mud and that is no joke. Wear shoes that can get into mud and water comfortably. The hike is not too challenging or strenuous though.
When you arrive at the natural pool and waterfall, the view is beautiful and the activities are fun! We happened to go on a day with a strong current but still managed to get to the natural waterslide and rope swing. Throughout all of it, Mitchell was super attuned to our safely and guided us through it with ease.
This was a highlight of our trip and Mitchell was a big part of making it so positive!

The private tour was perfect. We felt safe and not rushed. Eli was with us at all times and made sure we were safe and we got great pictures. I was able to take a few risks to be able to have a great experience on the water slide. Best tour excursion we took in Puerto Rico would love to try again. Recommend to everybody

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. A great mix between trails and time in the water was great. I Highly recommend this tour. The best part was the smaller group size made for some great conversation.

I never thought I would enjoy slogging through mud to get to a natural pool in the jungle, but it was great (except for trying to remove the mud from my once white sneakers). I amazed myself that I got up the nerve to swing from a rope into the pool.

Ian is the very best tour guide! We traveled with him on a fantastic tour. The group was small and and I appreciated that. It is hard to hear in large groups. The area is absolutely amazing. The slides are a blast and everyone there was truly enjoying themselves. Our group started early and this avoided the larger crowds that came as we were leaving. Ian even sent out a ‘search crew’ when my husband’s cell phone came off his neck while cliff jumping. They found the phone!! I would absolutely do this tour again! Don’t hesitate to book this tour. Ask for Ian!
