3 person kayak

Had a great time…wish we would’ve had more time checking out the plankton but all in all I was impressed that my 7 and 10 year old did so great in our 3 person kayak.
Stars in the lagune

Really nice view of luminous microorganisms in the lagoon. Looked like stars in the water but moving. First time kayaking. Nice guides took care of large group along the canal. Canal very dark as it is covered by trees. It was amazing paddling through it listening to the song of the frogs (coqui) resting on the shores. For 100.00 it was totally worthy. I was staying in old san juan and a driver picked us up in van from 2 different hotels. Nice sights along the way we passed the yunke tropical rain forest, Rio Grande and Fajardo towns. The view of the mountains and vegetation reminded me of "Gorillas in the Mist"

Bio Bay Tour

The transportation was easy to spot and the driver was friendly, very safe driving even in high volume traffic. Upon arrival the driver and his team were very clear on instructions and safety gear and gave an in depth tutorial on how to use a kayak. We kayaked in a single file line down a canal that leads to the bio bay (laguna grande) and there were other kayaking tours as well, our instructors were clear about where we needed to
be in order to avoid accidents and was there to help and guide those with less experience. We could start to see the bioluminescence through the canal which was super cool. Upon arrival to the bay, the instructors gave a very in depth lesson on what the bioluminescence was and were very knowledgeable. It started down pouring rain so we headed back to the canal to see more of the bioluminescence before heading home but the rain didn’t take away from the experience. Great experience overall!
Very cool experience

Very friendly and helpful staff, kayaking on the way out wasn’t bad but on the way back was a struggle since it was too dark but the staffs were always watching and making sure you’re safe.
You can see tiny bit sparkles in the water when you get there but once they give you the turf to cover the kayak completely, all of a sudden you jump into the land of fairy Tales, it was amazing, definitely a cool experience.
Good experience

The driver who picked us up was on time and was giving some tips on how to Kayak. He made it seem easy and our fear of not kayaking ever disappeared.
Amazing tour

This was a great trip! Marlon was our guide and he was very informative on the area and helped us have a great time. Definitely recommend if you like hiking and (if you want to) cliff jump and water slide.
Bio bay night kayaking

The tour guides were great. Funny, knowledgeable, and patient with the beginning kayakers. Unfortunately the night we went the bioluminescence was harder to see because the full moon was so bright. Not the guides fault but something to keep in mind when timing a trip. Nevertheless the kayaking was fun and the scenery was beautiful.
Great experience

The guides were great and the tour is awesome. You get to do a good amount of kayaking but it isn't too much for people with no experience
Magical

Our pickup was on time and very friendly. The instructions for kayaking were clear and we didn't have any problems. The bioluminescence in the bay was amazing! The sounds of nature as you kayak are spectacular. Michi was our guide and was so patient and informative. Don't miss this experience.

Hand in the stars
Jason_B, 19-12-2022
The bio-bay was not as the pictures made it seem, but it was still an incredible experience. It was as if you could dip your hand into to sky and stir the stars. I highly recommend this experience for those who have never experienced it before.
Good kayaking

The tour guides were amazing. Emily helped me out so much when my solo kayak went and got stuck to the side on a heavy double kayak ramming into it. I would not advise going solo unless you are good at kayaking. We didn't see much biofluoroscence, just some sparks with a tarp on. If you treat this as a kayaking experience through the mangroves, it was good.
